3 large fresh red bell peppers, roasted
1 cup walnuts, lightly toasted
1/2 cup + 1 tablespoon ground Simple Mills Original Seed Flour Crackers
1 teaspoon fresh squeezed lemon juice
3 tablespoons pomegranate molasses 
1 clove garlic (small)
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (preferably Aleppo)
6 tablespoons olive oil
Simple Mills Garlic & Herb Organic Seed Flour Crackers
pomegranate molasses
pomegranate arils
parsley leaves
sliced scallions


COMBINE red peppers, walnuts, lemon juice, salt, cumin, paprika, garlic, 1/4 teaspoon of the red pepper flakes, pomegranate molasses, and 4 tablespoons of olive oil in the bowl of a food processor
PUREE until mostly smooth.
ADD ½ cup ground Simple Mills Seed Flour Crackers (“breadcrumbs”) and pulse to combine. If mixture is still too loose to hold its shape, add remaining tablespoon of breadcrumbs. If mixture is too thick, add the rest of the olive oil. Note: the spread will stiffen in the fridge, and you can always adjust later. 
SEASON with more salt if necessary and adjust spice level to your liking by adding the remaining red pepper flakes. 
SPOON a heaping teaspoon of the muhammara onto the center a of a Garlic & Herb Simple Mills Organic Seed Flour Cracker
DRIZZLE a little bit of pomegranate molasses onto the spread
GARNISH with a few pomegranate arils, a few sliced scallions, and a beautiful parsley leaf.
