Cacao and Avocado Hummus

Cacao and Avocado Hummus made with Himalayan Salt Veggie Pita Crackers Recipe


1 14-oz can chickpeas, rinsed

1/2 cup full fat coconut milk

1/4 cup water

10 medjool dates, pitted

1 medium avocado, peeled and pitted

3 tbsp tahini

3 tbsp cacao powder

1-2 tbsp maple syrup

1 tsp vanilla extract

Pinch of salt

1 box Simple Mills Himalayan Salt Veggie Pita Crackers


Toppings, optional

Sesame seeds

Cacao nibs


ADD all ingredients (except toppings and crackers) into a high speed blender. Blend until smooth, scraping the sides as needed. If the mixture is too thick, add more coconut milk, one tablespoon at a time, blending in between additions.

TRANSFER into a serving bowl. Garnish with sesame seeds and cacao nibs, if desired.
