MASH avocados, garlic, lime juice, salt, and black pepper in a large bowl.
TASTE and adjust seasonings if needed and set aside.
HEAT olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
ADD pinto beans when the oil is hot, and let cook for 2-3 minutes, not agitating too much.

COOK until the beans are hot and slightly crispy.
ASSEMBLE dip by spreading mashed avocado on a plate or shallow bowl. Top with seasoned beans, onion, radishes, tomatoes, cilantro, lime juice, and crumbled cotija cheese.
