The past three months have been a whirlwind for Simple Mills and we've been making many changes! This past weekend marks a huge milestone for Simple Mills - for the first time I can say that we are in stores! On Saturday we stocked the shelves our first Whole Foods location in Atlanta and on Sunday we hosted our first in-store demonstration. This coming weekend we'll be doing additional deliveries to three more Whole Foods locations and hosting two more demos. It has been thrilling rewarding to hear from shoppers just how excited they were to see grain-free baking mixes.
There is also some other great news in the works. Over the last three months we've rebranded our packaging - making them clean, beautiful, and shopper friendly. We've also introduced a new line of Pumpkin Almond Flour Muffins, which is my new favorite flavor! And at this point, you're probably aware that we've also developed a new easy-to-use ecommerce site. We heard from our customers they were having trouble with our old site, so we developed a site that was easier to use. Last but certainly not least, the biggest change yet is we've shifted all our production to a dedicated gluten-free facility, meaning that our products can be guaranteed allergy-friendly. With my family having multiple food allergies, I wanted to make the jump to a dedicated gluten-free facility as early as possible.
